This may seem like a weird question to ask but it can make the difference attracting who and what you want for your business and life. How are you treating your Brand? Who and What are you allowing to align or associate with your Brand?

I was having a chat with my coach the other day, YES, I have a coach and never will be with out one. We were discussing the fact I was looking for a cupcake designer and several people had made recommendations to cupcake bakers. You may ask so what is the difference. I was looking for a person who represented warmth, inviting and who I could connect with and build a relationship with to provide cupcakes at online and offline special events. What I realized is that some of the vendors recommended were not the kind of company I would align my Brand with. I was looking for not only a cupcake baker but a cupcake designer who was going to provide me with an experience just by looking at their first Brand element their website!
What type of experience is your Brand and your Website offering to your potential clients? First impressions are often lasting impressions.
So, I ask you again, What Kind of Company is your Brand Keeping?
When you take a look at a Brand it should evoke a feeling, serve a particular population of people, called your target audience, whether you are intentional about it or not. I chose to be intentional with my brand. You see my brand is a warm inviting brand, it invites you to come inside, grab a cup of tea or your favorite beverage, take a seat on a soft comfy chair and sit back for a Soulful conversation. The colors selected, the person I wanted to attract and connect with, were all intentional considerations when I was in the planning and design phase of my web development. At the core of my Brand it has to reflect MY Soul’s DNA expressed in every aspect of my client’s experience, including my website. My Brand can only keep company with other brands, which are in alignment with our Brand Essence, Look, Feel, Energy, Our Brand Promise and the experience I want my clients to feel when interacting with my company on every level. This is what we strive for when we plan and live our daily lives as part of the team.
The Kind of Company your Brand Keeps can mean the difference between attracting a High End client or a non-paying client. When selecting the types of networking events to attend consider if the event, the host and the people attending the event are in alignment with your overall Brand Culture. If you choose to go to any and every networking event you will see yourself wasting a lot of time, money and energy not connecting with the most impactful people on your journey to position your Brand for Success. I believe in building my business and life based on ease, grace in a state of flow. How can you flow when you are not energetically in alignment? At the end of the day you are either in alignment or you are out of alignment.
