The Spotlight Will Shine on Boomer Women at the 4th Annual Social Media Summit

Four years ago, I hosted the FIRST-EVER All Women’s Social Media Summit.  This was the first time women from different ethnic and professional backgrounds shared the stage WITHOUT men to showcase their knowledge and expertise.

This year, the fourth year, another milestone will be set with the FIRST-EVER all BOOMER WOMEN’S Social Media Summit.  This day-long event will bring “women of a certain age” together for some social and business networking and to get answers to the questions that will help them better navigate their way through social media EFFECTIVELY and EFFICIENTLY during the second half of their journey.

What I have discovered as Beverly Mahone, an active female, black, baby boomer social networker, is the playing field isn’t always level when it comes to older women, especially black, asian and latino women.  This Summit will give a voice to all of us.
