In working with individuals in the Gen Y cohort, employees, as well as customers, the major lesson we have learned is how utterly and completely tuned into, and dependent upon technology, this group is. For the most part, this group of individuals lives, breathes and sleeps almost entirely with the assistance of technology (iPhones, Blackberries, internet, email, et al). This presents many challenges mainly in the form of difficulties with live, in-person human interaction in real-life, and real-time problem solving and team work with this group. We embrace the challenges.
