National Falls Prevention Awareness Day 2010
Falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries to older adults. In 2007, National Falls Prevention Awareness Day (NFPAD) was established to promote and increase public awareness about how to prevent and reduce falls in this population.
