Am back to cycling and learning to live in Canada I look forward to participating more here and am enjoying looking through the posts.

Tell me about your mother. Did she have a long illness? Is your father still living?
I'm three-times an orphan. My father, my mother and my step-father have all passed on, as have my two brothers. That leaves only my sister and me. Do you have other family?
I don't mean to overwhelm you with questions, but after sixteen years as a United Methodist pastor and more funerals than I can count, I know that sometimes the kindest thing you can do for the bereaved is to give them an opportunity to talk about the loved-one that they lost.
