As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have been doing coaching and counseling through life's transitions for over 20 years. My professional goal is to assist others to expand their vision of their future and to develop and implement plans to achieve that vision. I work with individuals in person as an associate with Holistic Counseling Care of Cincinnati or at a distance (telephone and email) through Your Career Plan.

Depending on your particular needs, we can start at any point in the career management process: assessments of self, researching career fields and/or educational options, making decisions, or developing and implementing plans for a job or career change. I am certified as a Master Career Counselor by the National Career Development Association, a Life/Work Counselor by the National Employment Counseling Association, and am a Distance Credentialed Counselor. Whether you are considering making a career/job change, continuing your education, returning to the workforce, or looking for volunteer opportunities, I can serve as an objective observer as you go through the steps for managing your career .

In addition to providing services to individuals, I teach a career workshop through a local university. One of my former students wrote, " Mary Ann was initelligent and approachable. She was able to help guide and counsel us into the next 'phase' of our careers." Another student wrote, "...it expanded my thoughts about my future career potential."

Coaching or counseling requires a dedication on the part of both individuals to commit to working during and between sessions. I beleive that tapping into and attending to your inner self is the way to create a satisfying life. It is not an easy task, but is well worth the effort.
