As a Certified Franklin-Covey Coach, Les has managed a successful coaching practice since 2003. His clients are highly-motivated entrepreneurs from a broad range of backgrounds. He’s the author of The Frazzled Entrepreneur’s Guide to Having It All and has developed the Balanced Life Project, which introduces seven critical life strategies that are essential for creating purposeful change. Most recently, Les has been working in the field of midlife transition, focusing primarily on the challenges facing men as they tackle the transformation from living up to others’ expectations to a more authentic, self- and spiritually-motivated life. His program, entitled Midlife Mastery, can be found online at www.MidlifeMaster.com. He writes a weekly blog called Midlife Matters (found at www.MidlifeMaster.net) and hosts a weekly radio program of the same name (www.BlogTalkRadio.com/midlife). He has offered several teleconferences and webinars focused on men at midlife and the women who love them. Formerly a regular contributor to Business Coaching Worldwide, the online magazine of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches, Les has a large number of articles published online through Ezine Articles (www.ezinearticles.com), Evan Carmichael (www.evancarmichael.com), and LifeTwo (lifetwo.com). In addition to holding certification as a Certified Franklin-Covey Coach, Les is also holds a Certificate of Initial Mastery in Marshall Goldsmith Behavioral Coaching and also holds a certificate in Adele Lynn’s (A Different Kind of Smart) Applying Emotional Intelligence. Les has been associated with master coach, Lyn Christian of SoulSalt, Inc. as a coach in her Inspired Entrepreneur program. With over fifteen years of corporate experience, Les served as Vice President, CIO, and HR Director of a mid-sized Northeastern manufacturing company. At various times, he was the lead in the critical business functions of Information Technology and Human Resources. As a certified ISO-9000 Lead Auditor, he led the corporation to successful ISO-9000 and QS-9000 (automotive) quality certification. His leadership was instrumental in transforming a 1950’s-era family business into a high-commitment, team-based, 21st Century “tier two” automotive supplier. Prior to his work in corporate management, Les ran his own software development company, building custom inventory and order management software for small businesses. Although Les has spent much of his career in entrepreneurial and corporate leadership, his primary focus has always been on the individual. During his ten years in the active ministry, Les was recognized as a popular speaker and was a sought-after spiritual counselor. He was also involved in adult education on both the local and regional levels. Les is an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC), and the Coachville Communities. In addition to his various certifications, Les holds a Master of Arts Degree in philosophy and an Master of Arts in theology, both from the University of Ottawa. |
