As Founder & CEO of Inner Affluence™ my coaching practice specializes in working with high-achieving career women in midlife who are looking to increase their sacred capital. For these women, the desire to play a bigger game requires a strong profit motive, but making money is no longer the goal. The goal is a search for significance, a journey to uncover the wealth of the self, a rite of passage to their highest purpose, and to a life that is as unique as their fingerprint.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, I am a speaker, published author and poet, and am currently writing a book about women journeying through midlife.

When I first began feeling the rumblings that I wanted to change careers and follow my bliss, I continually chided myself for entertaining such “pie-in-the-sky” thoughts at my age. I was 41.
When I wasn’t sticking pins in my own balloon, I was freaking out about what exactly I’d actually…

Someone asked me the other day why I refuse to refer to the transition that occurs for most career women in midlife as a “crisis.” While it’s true that the word “crisis” means a crucial or decisive point or situation, or a turning point, it also has about it an air of instability and…

Following a brief conversation earlier this week with a woman I’d known only peripherally during my corporate days, I continued to feel off balance, as if something from my past kept tugging at me, but my mind refused to acknowledge it.
She shared with me that one of her teenage sons had…
