About Colleen

Two of my greatest loves are writing and helping others achieve their personal and career goals. While these passions have always been present, it was a graduate internship that introduced me to résumé writing and career counseling and I was immediately hooked. Over the last 14 years, I have written hundreds of résumés and helped countless individuals achieve the careers of their dreams.

I received my Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in Psychology from Rutgers University and am a Certified Professional Résumé Writer, Certified Professional Career Coach, Certified JobsOver50/Boomer Authority™ Career Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach, Certified Professional NLP Practitioner, NJ Licensed Professional Counselor, and a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC). I run Colleen’s Career Creations (www.ColleensCareerCreations.com) and teach Psychology and Leadership courses at my two alma maters, the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education and Douglass College. I'm also privileged to be a co-author in a new book titled 101 Great Ways to Enhance Your Career and to have my work featured in the Gallery of Best Resumes 5th Edition.

Branding Yourself Using Social Media ── Success in “Branding” yourself, and by extension your organization, in the social media space can be summarized in a single word: Engagement!
