My own theology has led me to believe that God shows up in community. I have been a member of a fascinating and active Episcopal parish for the last 30 years.

I surprised my self by going because i had been to an Episcopal boarding school with church once a day and twice on Sunday. I took a break during college but I missed the music and a community. I needed other disciples to talk this stuff over with. BTW Aren't the disciples so human and silly with all their "who is going to sit on the right" side and their fears. I always like that about them. They seem so accessible.

That is a remarkable and generous discipline. It must have some wonderful rewards and also be difficult at times.
