When you first see that you actually have a website, it is a great feeling, but it is only the beginning. Your next job is to start sharing your expertise or passion in the form of content that will be of value to the people who comprise your target market.

There are literally millions of websites out there for people to visit, and there are certain things

you will have to do to start letting people know that you exist. One of the first things you should do after you have your website started is let Google and the other search engines know about it. Once they know about your site, they will crawl your site when you add new content. The more frequently you add content, the more often the search engines will stop by and see what's new. They will look closely at the keywords and key phrases you have used in your new content so they can send targeted traffic to that new page.

It is reallly easy to submit your site to the search engines.. Here  are the links for the major search engines, and all you have to do is click on the links and submit your url.

Once you have submitted your url, then you need to start concentrating on creating good content and posting it frequently. I know that sounds like a lot of work, but you can and should use multi media to make your site more interesting and less time consuming. I will write more about that next time. Does anyone have any questions or comments, please post them so we can have a discussion.
